Sounder is located in Red Deer, AB.,- the heart of the Western Canada Sedimentary basin, central to Alberta's oil and gas service industry. METERdat was conceived and developed by drawing on management's specific knowledge and experiences in gas measurement field operations, instrumentation, chart reading practices, and the evolving computer technologies. The mission is to deliver the most economic and practical digital flow data solution without sacrifice to the field operator's access to the well's flowing conditions - the chart.recorder The METERdat development was assisted by strategic alliances with leading software development and electronic design firms such as Waltronics Inc. and FinePoint Innovations. The METERdat test pilots, evaluation sites, early adopters, investors, business associates, and CETAC-WESTare also graciously acknowledged for their support . Ongoing field evalutation has continued to provide substantial feedback on the METERdat system . From these successes, Sounder has been able to prove and refine the technology and build on data interface / integration schemes that increase value to the field operator, operating company, shareholders, and ulitimately the consumers and environment.
