Configuration
The METERdat™ circuit boards are configured through the RS-232 port using the OnBoard© software. Measurement parameters such as the UWI, ID, pen ranges, atmospheric pressure, and sample rate are initialized on the circuit board and recorded at the beginning of each memory module and file.

Calibration
Calibration values are set by zeroing the pens and following the entry sequence described in the operating instructions. The calibration should be updated if the circuit board is removed and reinstalled for recorder maintenance purposes.

Sleep Mode
The circuit board will power down after 30 minutes of inactivity. No LED's will be lit. Press the front log button to wake it up. The LED's will display the pen test and the unit will enter Safe Mode. The red LED will then be on.

NORMAL USE:

Safe Mode. The red LED is on.

1) To start logging: - Insert a fresh memory module into the front socket. The green LED will turn on. Press the LOG button. The LED's display the pen test and the unit begins logging. The green LED will flash with each sample, and the red LED will be off.

2) To stop logging: - Press the LOG button. The unit performs the pen test, and enters Safe Mode. The red LED will be on and green LED off. You may now remove and refresh the memory module to start logging again.

*   When logging, the green LED flashes with each sample set taken. Press, hold, and then release the LOG button once the LEDs begin to flash the pen test sequence (approximately 1 or 2 seconds)
