OVERVIEW

INNOVATION -  METERdat™ empowers circular chart measurements with pen tip sensing technology to capture digital records that can be recreated on your computer.

COMPATIBILITY -   METERdat readily installs into industry standard 12" circular recorders such as the Barton, PMC, Cliff Mock, and remanufactured compatibles having stand off posts, or spring type retainers with conversion brackets. The EasyChart© and OnBoard© software utilities operate using Windows95/98/ME/XP/2000 on desktop and laptop computers having a serial port and printer port.

TECHNOLOGY -   METERdat operates by sensing the recorder pen tips on a grid embedded in the printed circuit board that serves as the chart backing plate. The samples are stored on removable memory modules that can be downloaded and refreshed using an external printer port style module reader. The EasyChart software reads the modules, scales and displays the data graphically, in daily summaries, or as a list of all the samples.

ADVANTAGE -  METERdat's unique design blends the transition from paper to electronic measurement. The charts continue to provide a visual reference at the wellhead, while the digital samples feed volume calculation requirements. The result is extraordinary value in functionality and price.

APPLICATIONS

The versitility of METERdat nearly matches that of circular chart recorder use.
Any combination of up to 3 sensors, or variables that are recorded on a circular chart can be digitized. (ex. Flow, pressure, temperature, humidity..)

Our Focus is to provide optimum functionality and value to the orifice measurement process. The METERdat hardware and software package delivers the ultimate solution for orifice meter data capture and processesing.

LOCATION -Field Production Facilities. The hardware is rugged, safe, and totally suited to remote, unserviced and unattended operation. The low power consumption, single circuit board design is tested and certified by the CSA as an Intrinsically Safe device for Class 1, Div.1 (Zone 0) hazardous locations.

FRIENDLY - The operation only requires a single button press, or a click of the mouse to perform the essential functions.

SMART - The comprehensive data files contain the essential information to automatically calculate and display the memory card or file downloads.

STANDARDIZED - Traditional oilfield units are used by the hardware and software by default:
The standard pen configurations are described in the following table:
Pen #DescriptionScaled Units
1Differential, red pen on arcInches water column (HW)
2Static, short blue penPounds per square inch (psi gage or abs)
3Temperature, long green penDegrees Fahrenheit. Low/high (F)
